ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, valves, fittings, drainage and fixturesRead and interpret drawings, layouts and plumbing schematicsDetect plumbing issues and carry out effective troubleshooting and repairsInstall and maintain water heaters, pumps, tanks and sanitary fixturesTest plumbing systems for leaks and proper functioningEnsure compliance with safety standards and local plumbing codesCoordinate with supervisors, engineers and other trades on siteMaintain tools, equipment and work areas in safe conditionRespond to emergency plumbing breakdowns when requiredQualificationsITI / DiplomaMinimum 2-3 years of experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance.Knowledge of various irrigation systems, tools and techniques.Basic plumbing skills and understanding of water pressure systems.Ability to read and interpret irrigation system drawings or schematics.Additional InformationWorking ConditionsWork may be conducted outdoors requiring the ability to work in various weather conditions.Physical labor is required including lifting and moving equipment.Availability for on-call or emergency work may be needed depending on the employer's needs.Remote WorkNoEmployment TypeContract#J-18808-Ljbffr
