Plant Manager - Industrial Adhesives

Our client is on the leading adhesive manufacturers across the region with a manufacturing sites of over 100 employees. Our client is looking for a Plant Manager to be able to manage all technical functions on site. Role Description Reporting into the Director, Manufacturing (Specialty Chemicals) you will be responsible for managing the entire Industrial Adhesives site in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. You will manage the Production, Maintenance, Warehousing, Quality Assurance, Sales Support and Product Development functions in close liaison with the plant support departments such as Finance and Sales. Ensure the production goals are consistently met. Develop and prepare the manufacturing budgets and ensure they are properly executed. Manage the maintenance function and ensure all the maintenance plans are efficient. Manage Capex projects / assignments Develop and enforce QHSE policies and procedures. Regularly look at continuous improvement techniques to improve production processes and to cut costs. Ensure the factory is running efficiently by closely monitoring inventory and waste management. Control the quality of all finished products with a zero tolerance for substandard quality. Who we're looking for The successful candidate must hold an Industrial Management or Engineering university degree with a minimum of 10 years of work experience within the industrial adhesives manufacturing industry. Preference will go to candidates who carries a Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) credential from the Association for Operations Management (APICS). It is crucial that the successful candidate understands the adhesives manufacturing process.
