Planning Engineer

The Planning Engineer in association with the resident engineer shalldevelop the Project execution plan considering the proper engineering techniques and milestone sequences for the Project. Candidate will set targets for activities based on each projectactivity and ensure it meets DMs specifications and requirements.Planning engineers shall estimate timescales and costs using specializeddesign software packages (Primavera). One of the major Planning Engineers roles is to monitor day-to-day work progress for the Project and provide accurate weekly and monthly reports by swiftly communicating potential progress delays or project slippages. Tracking and analyzing field results is another key responsibility. Planning engineers continually compare planned and actual progress and report any differences to their lead project manager. Planning Engineer also studies the impact of alternative approaches. Qualifications : The Planning engineer must have a relevant degree from arecognized university and a civil engineering backgroundwith knowledge and work experience of not less thanten years in design and construction programming/planning ofsimilar projects.
