Planning Engineer

Experience - 6-8 yearsJob responsibilities:Developing project master schedule, updating, monitoring, and reviewing contractor construction schedules, submittals, material delivery, procurement logs and daily follow-up in addition to the necessary productivity measurement studies and associated corrective measures.Addressing all planning requirements on assigned projects.Competent in Microsoft office packages and relevant project management software. E.g., Primavera preferred (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, MS Access, Excel, and Power point).Addressing all progress monitoring functions on assigned projects.Contribute to the improvement of existing planning and progress monitoring systems.Ensure project controls are established and maintained on all projects.Provide assessment of Extension of Time claims.Ensure all key issues are communicated effectively to Engineers / Project Managers.Participate in regular meetings with clients or Sub-contractors.Compile and maintain records of construction productivity data.Provide contract administration support as required.Assist with the review Interim Payment Certificates.* Provide support for the establishment of project resource schedules.Assist with the preparation and review of future bids.Knowledge of Project Management and managing complex/multi contractor design projects preferred.And other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.#J-18808-Ljbffr
