Planning Engineer

We're Hiring: Marine Technical Administrator (Technical Document Controller with Marine Experience) Location: Downtown Dubai, Base of Burj Khalifa• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMJawar Al Khaleej Shipping L.L.C. is a regional leader in integrated maritime solutions. As part of our continued growth and operational excellence, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marine Technical Administrator to support our Technical Director.This position is ideal for candidates who are proactive, adaptable, and capable of handling confidential and mission-critical documentation in a fast-paced marine environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide secretarial and administrative support to the Technical Director and technical team.Manage and maintain documentation related to vessel operations, including:Vessel particulars, defect reports, non-conformities, dry dock records, audits, and maintenance tracking.Flag state and classification certificates, machinery manuals, technical files, safety and navigation equipment logs.Coordinate communication between vessels, third-party contractors, classification societies, and internal teams.Update and maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Assist in warranty claims, incident report closures, and safety-related documentation.Visit vessels at ports and shipyards when required.Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of all sensitive technical documentation.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution OR high school diploma with strong relevant experience.STCW Certificate of Competency is an advantage.Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in maritime, engineering, or technical environments.Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory).High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Strong understanding of maritime regulations, flag requirements, and vessel operations.Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.Ability to manage large volumes of documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.Positive, team-oriented attitude with a proactive mindset.Why Join Us?At Jawar Al Khaleej, we pride ourselves on a culture of professionalism, innovation, and operational excellence.
