Located in Saudi Arabia, Talent at is committed to contributing to the nation's vision for a prosperous and sustainable future.Role OverviewOur confidential client is seeking a Planning Engineer to strengthen project planning and controls across construction programs. This role focuses on developing robust schedules, tracking progress, analyzing delays, and providing clear reporting to support reliable, on-time delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain baseline project schedules (WBS, logic ties, critical path) using Primavera P6.Collect progress from site teams and update schedules with accurate, timely data.Analyze variances and delay drivers; propose recovery/mitigation plans.Produce weekly/monthly reports (S-curves, dashboards, look-ahead plans, KPIs).Coordinate planning interfaces with engineering, procurement, and construction execution.Support change management and delay/claims documentation inputs (as required).Track resource loading and productivity and highlight risks early.Maintain schedule governance, coding structure, calendars, and data quality.QualificationsBachelors degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Industrial or relevant).Minimum 10 years planning/project controls experience (construction preferred).Strong Primavera P6 proficiency; MS Project is a plus.Strong analytical skills and stakeholder communication (English required; Arabic preferred).Preferred / Nice-to-haveExperience on multi-package projects or complex contractor interfaces.Exposure to schedule risk workshops / Primavera Risk Analysis is a plus.Familiarity with delay analysis concepts and good documentation practices.Success MetricsAccurate schedules with on-time updates and high data integrity.Early identification of delays with practical recovery plans adopted.Improved predictability of milestones and reduced schedule variance.Clear, decision-ready reporting for leadership and stakeholders.Strong coordination that minimizes interface-related delays.What We OfferStable role with meaningful impact and visibility.Professional team environment with clear standards and accountability.Development opportunities and training support.Equal Opportunity Statement:Talent at and our confidential client welcome applications from qualified candidates.
