Planning Engineer

Project Scheduling & PlanningDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and / or MS Project.Define project milestones, critical paths, and key deliverables.Coordinate with project teams to gather inputs for planning and scheduling purposes.Monitoring & ReportingMonitor project progress and update schedules accordingly.Identify potential delays or risks and suggest corrective actions.Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports for internal stakeholders and clients.Track actual vs. planned timelines, manpower, and resources.Coordination & DocumentationLiaise with project managers, engineers, procurement, and site teams for accurate planning data.Assist in preparing work breakdown structures (WBS), manpower histograms, and resource allocation plans.Ensure proper documentation of schedules, updates, and baselines.Cost & Resource Management SupportCoordinate with the commercial team for budget and cost alignment.Assist in monitoring material usage, subcontractor progress, and procurement lead times.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum 4 years of experience in planning within the aluminium and glass / façade or construction industry.Proficiency in Primavera P6 , MS Project, and MS Excel.Strong knowledge of aluminium and glass systems, façade elements, and construction workflows.Familiarity with site operations, procurement processes, andproject execution practices.Good understanding of UAE construction standards and timelines.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
