PIPELINE ENGINEER OFFSHORE

OverviewPIPELINE ENGINEER - OFFSHOREWe are looking for an experienced Pipeline Engineer to support the engineering phase of offshore oil and gas projects. The role involves executing pipeline design and engineering activities during FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design, working closely with multidisciplinary EPC teams to deliver technically sound and compliant offshore pipeline solutions.ResponsibilitiesPerform pipeline engineering activities for offshore oil and gas projects executed in an EPC environmentExecute and support FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design for offshore pipeline systemsPrepare, review, and check pipeline engineering deliverables, including:Pipeline routing and alignment sheetsWall thickness calculations and material selectionOn-bottom stability analysisFree span assessment and pipeline integrity checksEngineering calculations, design reports, and technical notesDevelop and review pipeline material specifications, datasheets, line lists, and material requisitionsEnsure compliance with project specifications, applicable international codes, and industry standards (e.g., DNV, API, ASME, ISO)Interface and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams such as process, structural, geotechnical, installation, and HSESupport design reviews, technical queries, deviations, and Management of Change (MoC) during the engineering phaseProvide engineering support during fabrication, offshore installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities as requiredParticipate in risk assessments, constructability reviews, and offshore pipeline design reviewsCoordinate with vendors and support technical bid evaluations and vendor document reviewsKey QualificationsBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalentMinimum 8 years of relevant experience in offshore pipeline engineering within the oil and gas industryProven experience on offshore pipeline projects within an EPC organizationStrong experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, and/or Detailed Design of offshore pipeline systemsSolid knowledge of offshore pipeline design principles, materials, installation methods, and integrity considerationsFamiliarity with international offshore pipeline codes and standardsExperience supporting EPC projects through detailed engineering and execution phasesAbility to work effectively in a multidisciplinary EPC environmentGood written and verbal communication skills in EnglishVERTICAL: ENGINEERING#J-18808-Ljbffr
