Pipe Fitter

Madre Integrated Engineering Full time Responsibilities Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and layout plans related to piping systems. Install and assemble piping systems for seawater intake, high-pressure pumps, RO skids, brine discharge, and auxiliary systems. Cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes using hand and power tools. Align and secure pipes using supports, hangers, and hydraulic jacks. Inspect and test installed systems for leaks using hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on existing piping infrastructure. Work with various materials including HDPE, GRP, stainless steel, PVC, and carbon steel. Ensure all work is in compliance with HSE standards and plant safety protocols. Collaborate with engineers, welders, and maintenance teams for efficient execution of projects. Document work activities, maintenance logs, and inspection results. Qualifications High school diploma or technical certification in pipe fitting or mechanical trade. 5+ years of experience in pipe fitting, preferably in water treatment or industrial plant settings. Experience in desalination, oil & gas, or chemical plant environments is highly preferred. Proficient in using pipe fitting tools, welding equipment, and testing instruments. Ability to read technical drawings and work with minimal supervision. Strong understanding of industrial safety standards and confined space work.
