The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and organizing our pharmacy's inventory, ensuring the proper storage and handling of medications and medical supplies.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of pharmacy inventory using specialized management systemsReceive, unpack, and store incoming pharmaceutical supplies and medicationsMonitor stock levels and initiate reorders to prevent shortagesEnsure proper storage conditions for all medications, including temperature-sensitive itemsConduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepanciesCollaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to fulfill medication requestsPrepare and process paperwork for returns, recalls, and expired medicationsAssist in implementing and maintaining quality control proceduresEnsure compliance with local regulations and pharmacy policies regarding medication storage and handlingQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; Pharmacy Technician certification preferred2-3 years of experience in pharmacy or healthcare inventory managementProficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detailBasic knowledge of pharmaceuticals, including drug classifications and namesFamiliarity with pharmaceutical storage requirements and regulationsExcellent record-keeping and documentation skillsStrong communication abilities to interact effectively with pharmacy staff and suppliersAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentPhysical capability to lift and move boxes of supplies as needed
