The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing advice on medications, maintaining records of medication use and advising customers on the selection of over-the-counter drugs. Our ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent communication skills.Duties & ResponsibilitiesReceive prescriptions from customers and verify accuracy of dosage instructionsDispense medications according to prescriptions, including correct dosage amountsAdvise customers on the selection of over-the-counter drugs according to symptomsAnswer customer questions regarding side effects, proper storage and usage instructions for medicationsEnsure correct labeling of medication containers with patient information, drug name, dose and directions for useMonitor inventory levels of drugs in the pharmacy; restock shelves as necessaryMaintain accurate records of all transactions involving the sale or return of medicationsFollow all safety procedures when handling hazardous materials such as drugs or cleaning products#J-18808-Ljbffr
