OverviewWe are currently hiring a skilled Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar. As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and designing methods for extracting oil and gas from below the earth’s surface. You will use your expertise in drilling techniques and reservoir engineering to maximize the production of oil and gas.ResponsibilitiesConducting research on potential drilling sitesDesigning and implementing plans for oil and gas extractionMonitoring and analyzing production data to optimize efficiencyCollaborating with geologists, geophysicists, and other engineers to determine the best extraction methodsOverseeing drilling operations to ensure compliance with safety protocolsEvaluating well performance and implementing techniques to improve productionDeveloping cost estimates for projects and providing recommendations for cost reductionStaying updated on industry developments, new technologies, and regulationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industryStrong understanding of drilling techniques, reservoir engineering, and production optimizationExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisionsProficient in relevant software programs such as CMG, Petrel, or EclipseExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesFluency in English is preferredBenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month along with accommodation.
