Pet Groomer

We are seeking a skilled andcompassionate Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you willperform grooming services for a variety of pets—primarily dogs andcats, though other pets may be included as needed. You will beresponsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and positive environmentwhile ensuring each pet’s comfort throughout the grooming process.Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine lovefor animals are essential in delivering top-notch service and buildinglasting client relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesPet Grooming ServicesBathe, brush, trim, nail clip, and clean ears for dogs, cats,and other pets as required.Style fur according to breed standards or owner preferences.Observe and address any skin, coat, or health concerns duringgrooming sessions.Pet Safety & CareEnsure the safety and well-being of pets throughout thegrooming process.Use patience and proper handling techniques, especially foranxious or difficult pets.Maintain a hygienic, sanitized grooming area to promote ahealthy environment for pets and staff.Customer ServiceConsult with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and preferences.Offer guidance on coat maintenance, hygiene, and aftercare.Build positive relationships with clients, encouraging repeatbusiness through excellent service.Equipment & SuppliesKeep grooming tools and equipment clean, sterilized, and ingood working order.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of groomingsupplies as needed.Team CollaborationWork closely with other staff to ensure a seamless andfriendly customer experience.Assist in additional pet care tasks (e.g., check-ins/outs,scheduling) when necessary.Support a cooperative team environment, sharing knowledge andhelping others as required.RequirementsQualifications & SkillsExperience: Proven experience as a Pet Groomer or completionof a recognized grooming course.Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with breed-specific groomingstyles and techniques.Animal Handling: Ability to work with different sizes,breeds, and temperaments.Communication: Strong customer service skills and the abilityto effectively consult with pet owners.Personal Qualities: Patience, keen attention to detail, and agenuine passion for animal welfare.Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for extended periods,lifting pets, and performing repetitive tasks.BenefitsAccommodationInsuranceWeekly and annual LeavePlane ticketOpportunity to learn new skills and grow#J-18808-Ljbffr
