Perfusionist

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Perfusionist to join our client's team in Abu Dhabi. This role is based within one of the UAE’s largest government-affiliated healthcare networks recognized for its advanced cardiac care and cutting-edge surgical services.ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor cardiopulmonary bypass machines and other extracorporeal circulation equipment during cardiac surgeries.Manage blood flow, oxygenation, and temperature regulation to maintain patient stability during surgical procedures.Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room staff.Prepare, calibrate, and maintain perfusion equipment to ensure optimal performance.Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes during procedures.Handle blood conservation techniques, hemodilution, and anticoagulation management.Document procedures and maintain accurate records in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.Stay updated on latest perfusion techniques, safety protocols, and medical advancements.Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality assurance policies.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Perfusion Technology or a related medical field.Valid certification/license in Perfusion (UAE DOH/DHA/MOH or eligibility to obtain one).Minimum of 3 years clinical experience as a Perfusionist in a hospital or cardiac surgical setting.In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and extracorporeal circulation.Strong technical and troubleshooting skills with perfusion equipment.Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure surgical environments.Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient-care skills.Candidates outside the UAE are encouraged to apply!Disclaimer: Black Pearl will never ask for money or any form to charge our candidates just to process or consider their application for any of our available vacancies.
