Perfecta Machine Technician

Key Responsibilities:Closure of safety hazards on machine.Monitoring that the machine is adhering to factory safety standardsIdentify the root cause to prevent a similar safety hazard that may arise in the futureRectifying machine breakdowns.Identifying the Root Cause of the breakdown (BD)Creating an EWO for any occurring breakdown after rectification of BDCarrying out Preventive Maintenance.Rectifying Quality defects on the machine.Ensuring that the product is following all quality requirementsIdentify and rectify the Root cause of the defectsCreating Work orders through SAP and CMMS.Ensure a work order is created for every part withdrawn from the store.Suggesting Ideas to improve the machine maintenance.Provide input on potential improvements on SMPs component life improvements.Carry out individual projects to improve the machine.Assist in rectifying other minor issues on the line.Carrying out changeovers on the machine.Maintain the spare parts for the machine.Provide continuous improvement in the PM planEnsure compliance of proper procedure for all component withdrawals.Key Competencies:Must be flexible within pattern of shift work to accommodate factory shutdowns training courses to meet increase in demands etc.Basic Computer KnowledgeMS Office knowledgeProfessional Qualifications:Full Mechanical Technician Level Education Minimum ITI passed or Diploma in Engineering /Maintenance Engineering /2 Year Vocational training course.English Speaking comprehending and writing.MathematicsReport writing data analysis problem solving mechanical calculations leadership and coaching skills.Experience Required:Essential:Technical knowledge of the perfecta machine on a component level.Candidate should be able to fix breakdowns and run the machine with producing minimal quality defects.Candidate should be able to resolve minor stops in the minimum time possible.Candidate should be able to create work orders in SAP and CMMS and fill out maintenance forms and breakdown analysis.Basic knowledge of Electrical would be an advantage.Experience in Perfecta machines is a mustPreferred:Experience of manufacturing with perfecta machinesExperience as a team member within a project Management team with an awareness of project management tools and techniques.Experience with food safety standards.TPM/WCM knowledge and problem-solving abilities.Should be able to lead small team to Basic operators.Required Experience:IC Key Skills Industrial Maintenance,Machining,Mechanical Knowledge,CNC,Precision Measuring Instruments,Schematics,Maintenance,Hydraulics,Plastics Injection Molding,Programmable Logic Controllers,Manufacturing,Troubleshooting Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
