Job Description As a People Operations Manager at ThreatModeler, you will play a crucial role in driving key people initiatives across talent acquisition, employee engagement, HR operations, and organizational development. You will be the strategic leader for the people operations in India, balancing the fast-paced environment of a scale-up with structured discipline. Your role will involve collaborating with the global HR team to ensure a unified global culture and seamless cross-functional collaboration.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Strategic Leadership:** Design and implement HR initiatives aligning with global business objectives tailored for the Indian market.
- **Labor Law & Compliance:** Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on Indian Labor Laws to ensure 100% compliance with statutory requirements.
- **Compensation & Benefits:** Oversee competitive C&B structures for India, including payroll, insurance, and statutory benefits.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Coordinate with department heads in Noida and international HR partners for hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
- **Performance & Pressure:** Drive a high-performance culture and manage HR operations efficiently during rapid growth phases.
- **Employee Relations:** Handle complex employee relations issues and foster a transparent and high-trust environment.
**Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** 7 to 10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a high-growth tech startup or multinational subsidiary.
- **Labor Law Mastery:** Expert knowledge of Indian employment regulations and compliance.
- **Communication:** Exceptional English proficiency (verbal and written) is mandatory for reporting to global leadership and collaborating with international stakeholders.
- **Adaptability:** Experience in working under pressure with speed and accuracy.
- **Industry Knowledge:** Previous experience in SaaS or Cybersecurity sectors is preferred.
- **Tooling:** Proficiency in modern HRIS platforms and Google Suite/Atlassian ecosystems for tracking and reporting.
