Job InformationJob Title: Pediatric Ophthalmology ConsultantShort DescriptionAn Excellent opportunity to join as Pediatric Ophthalmology Consultant for one of the most prestigious and top tier leading Hospital in Jeddah Saudi ArabiaJob SummaryJoin one of the leading hospital as a consultant in pediatric ophthalmology, where you will lead the ophthalmology department, provide expert guidance on eye care services, collaborate with medical professionals to optimize patient care, drive training and development initiatives, and oversee the implementation of best practices in ophthalmic services.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides high-quality Pediatric Ophthalmology care to patients in this area of medicine.Provide consultative service as requested.Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and Participates in research activities.Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.Performs special procedures as privileged.Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required QualificationsEducationGraduate from a medical school of good standing.Completion of required period of training in specialty and/or SubspecialtySaudi Arab or American /European Board Certification or equivalent.Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as requiredA certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.Dataflow is a must.Professional ExperienceMin. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in specialty.A registered member of the Saudi Board CouncilLanguageProficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.ReferencesPositive professional references attesting to the candidate's skills and ethical conduct.#J-18808-Ljbffr
