<div><h3>Role Overview</h3><p>A prestigious tertiary care hospital in Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly skilled<b>Consultant Pediatric Anesthesiologist</b>to join its advanced surgical and critical care team. The role involves delivering safe, high-quality anesthesia care to pediatric patients undergoing a wide range of surgical and diagnostic procedures while contributing to teaching, research, and clinical governance.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide comprehensive anesthesia care to neonates, infants, children, and adolescents undergoing elective and emergency procedures.</li><li>Develop individualized anesthetic plans based on patient history, surgical needs, and perioperative risk.</li><li>Monitor and manage patients throughout the perioperative period, including post-anesthesia recovery.</li><li>Supervise and mentor junior anesthetists, residents, and fellows.</li><li>Participate in pediatric code blue and critical care response teams.</li><li>Contribute to departmental teaching, simulation training, and quality improvement initiatives.</li><li>Ensure compliance with SCFHS regulations and hospital policies.</li><li>Engage in clinical research and continuing medical education.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications&Requirements</h3><ul><li>Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed residency in Anesthesiology.</li><li>Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology from a recognized institution.</li><li>Board-certified (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, Canadian FRCP, or equivalent).</li><li>Minimum 2–5 years of post-fellowship experience in pediatric anesthesia.</li><li>Eligible for Consultant classification by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).</li><li>Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.</li><li>Strong communication and crisis management skills.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Attributes</h3><ul><li>Experience in neonatal and pediatric intensive care settings.</li><li>Familiarity with advanced monitoring and anesthesia technologies.</li><li>Commitment to patient safety, family-centered care, and multidisciplinary collaboration.</li><li>Interest in academic teaching or pediatric anesthesia research.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
