Patient Imaging Assistant

King’s College Hospital London – Dubai is looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Imaging Assistant to support our Radiology and Imaging Department. Our Imaging Department plays a vital role in diagnostics and treatment planning across multiple specialties.Role Overview:The Patient Imaging Assistant will support radiographers, sonographers, and radiologists in preparing patients for imaging procedures, maintaining equipment hygiene, and ensuring smooth workflow within the department.Key Responsibilities:Assist in preparing patients for imaging procedures (e.g., X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound).Provide reassurance and clear instructions to patients before and after scans.Support the clinical team with patient positioning and movement when required.Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment.Manage patient flow and coordinate with reception and clinical teams.Ensure patient confidentiality and uphold infection control standards.Requirements:Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical support role preferred.Basic understanding of medical imaging procedures is an advantage.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
