<div><h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li><b>Diagnostic Pathology:</b><ul><li><p>Examine tissue samples, biopsies, blood samples and other medical specimens to identify diseases, abnormalities and conditions.</p></li><li><p>Diagnose a wide range of conditions including cancers, infections and genetic disorders based on laboratory findings.</p></li><li><p>Perform autopsies to determine the cause of death, document findings and communicate the results to relevant parties.</p></li></ul></li><li><b>Laboratory Oversight:</b><ul><li><p>Oversee laboratory processes, ensuring proper handling, testing, and analysis of samples according to medical and ethical guidelines.</p></li><li><p>Ensure that laboratory equipment is maintained, calibrated, and functioning properly to deliver accurate test results.</p></li><li><p>Review and validate laboratory reports and ensure all diagnostic information is correct and consistent.</p></li></ul></li><li><b>Collaboration with Medical Teams:</b><ul><li><p>Collaborate with other medical professionals including surgeons, oncologists, and clinicians to discuss patient cases and assist in the development of treatment plans.</p></li><li><p>Provide insights based on pathological findings to assist healthcare teams in making informed decisions regarding patient care and prognosis.</p></li><li><p>Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss complex cases and provide expert pathology opinions.</p></li></ul></li><li><b>Reporting&Documentation:</b><ul><li><p>Prepare and review pathology reports documenting all findings, diagnoses, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate and confidential patient records ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.</p></li><li><p>Provide timely and actionable feedback to referring physicians and medical staff regarding diagnostic results.</p></li></ul></li><li><b>Research&Education:</b><ul><li><p>Stay current with advances in the field of pathology including new diagnostic techniques, technologies, and treatments.</p></li><li><p>Participate in research projects and clinical trials to contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge.</p></li><li><p>Educate medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals through lectures, workshops, and mentoring.</p></li><li><p>Publish research findings in medical journals or present at professional conferences.</p></li></ul></li><li><b>Quality Control&Compliance:</b><ul><li><p>Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, laboratory accreditation standards, and ethical guidelines.</p></li><li><p>Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain high standards in diagnostic practices.</p></li><li><p>Participate in audits, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of service quality.</p></li></ul></li><li><b>Consultation&Expert Opinion:</b><ul><li><p>Provide expert opinions on challenging or complex cases to assist in difficult diagnoses.</p></li><li><p>Offer second opinions for patients and other medical professionals when needed.</p></li><li><p>Provide expert testimony in legal cases related to pathology findings when required.</p></li></ul></li></ul><h3>Requirements:</h3><ul><li><b>Education:</b><ul><li><p>Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.</p></li><li><p>Board certification or eligibility in pathology (Anatomic or Clinical Pathology).</p></li><li><p>Additional fellowship training in specialized pathology fields (e.g. hematopathology, neuropathology) is a plus.</p></li></ul></li><li><b>Experience:</b><ul><li><p>At least 3-5 years of experience as a practicing pathologist in a clinical setting.</p></li><li><p>Experience with various diagnostic procedures including tissue analysis, cytology, and autopsies.</p></li><li><p>Proven track record of accurate diagnosis and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.</p></li></ul></li><li><b>Skills&Abilities:</b><ul><li><p>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in identifying disease markers and abnormalities.</p></li><li><p>In-depth knowledge of pathology procedures, diagnostic technologies, and laboratory techniques.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical information clearly to patients and colleagues.</p></li><li><p>Ability to handle complex and emotionally sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously.</p></li></ul></li><li><b>Technical Proficiency:</b><ul><li><p>Proficiency with laboratory information management systems (LIMS), electronic medical records (EMR), and diagnostic software.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with molecular pathology techniques including PCR, FISH, and next-generation sequencing is an advantage.</p></li></ul></li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications:</h3><ul><li><p>Fellowship or specialization in a p
