Patch Management Engineer

Müller's Solutions is in search of a dedicated Patch Management Engineer to enhance our IT infrastructure and ensure system security across our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing patch management processes and tools, ensuring that all systems are updated with the latest security patches and software updates. You will work closely with IT and security teams to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks related to outdated software.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement an effective patch management strategy that aligns with organizational policies and security compliance requirementsMonitor and evaluate system vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate patches and updatesCoordinate and schedule patch deployment, ensuring minimum disruption to operationsImplement automated tools and processes for efficient patch management across diverse systems and platformsMaintain accurate records of patch statuses, deployments, and exceptionsConduct testing of patches in a controlled environment before full deploymentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective communication regarding system maintenance and downtimeProvide training and support to IT staff on patch management best practices and proceduresStay updated with the latest industry trends, threats, and mitigation strategies related to patch managementRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldAt least 3 years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or cybersecurity related to patch managementIn-depth knowledge of patch management tools and techniquesExperience with enterprise-level patch management solutions, such as SCCM, Ivanti, or similar toolsFamiliarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and applicationsStrong analytical skills and the ability to assess the impact of patches on systems and applicationsExcellent documentation skills for creating and maintaining patch management processesStrong attention to detail and the ability to multitaskFamiliarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements related to patch managementSoft SkillsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressureStrong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical staffAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a remote work environmentStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficientlyBenefitsWhy Join Us:Opportunity to work with a talented and passionate team.Competitive salary and benefits package.Exciting projects and innovative work environment.Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia#J-18808-Ljbffr
