Job Description
Job DescriptionTo lead and manage all pastry and bakery operations, ensuring large-scale production of high-quality products while maintaining consistency, innovation, cost efficiency, and compliance with food safety standards.ResponsibilitiesOversee end-to-end pastry and bakery production across the central kitchen and/or multiple sitesDevelop, standardize, and improve recipes for breads, pastries, desserts, and baked goodsEnsure consistent product quality, taste, and presentation across all outletsLead and manage pastry and bakery teams, including training, scheduling, and performance managementPlan production schedules to meet retail and catering demand efficientlyMonitor food cost, wastage, and resource utilization to improve efficiencyEnsure compliance with HACCP, hygiene, and QHSE standardsCoordinate with procurement to source high-quality ingredients and suppliesDrive innovation by introducing new products aligned with market trends and client requirementsEnsure proper use, maintenance, and care of bakery equipment and machinerySupport business growth through product development for retail and contract catering operationsRequirementsProven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Pastry/Bakery ChefStrong background in retail or large-scale bakery operationsHospitality experience is requiredExpertise in large-scale production of breads, viennoiserie, cakes, and dessertsStrong leadership and team management skillsExperience managing high-volume production environmentsSolid understanding of food cost control and operational efficiencyGood knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulationsPreferred QualificationsDegree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Pastry, or BakeryExperience in central kitchen or multi-unit operationsExposure to GCC market and consumer preferencesExperience in menu engineering and product innovationKey CompetenciesLeadership and Team DevelopmentProduction Planning and OrganizationCost Control and Commercial AwarenessInnovation and CreativityQuality and Consistency FocusProblem-Solving and Decision-Making#J-18808-Ljbffr
