This dual-responsibility role focuses on leading the Pastoral care framework while driving the school's Data strategy to improve student outcomes. In the context of Dubai Schools, this leader will play a crucial role in supporting our predominantly Emirati student body, ensuring an environment that respects local culture and values while delivering a rigorous American curriculum. A central component of this role is ensuring all pastoral and academic strategies align with the KHDA Wellbeing Framework and the school’s Self-Evaluation Form (SEF) targets to drive continuous institutional improvement.Key Relationships (Internal and External)Teachers, Head of Early Years, Head of Arabic Subjects, Assistant Head of Primary, Deputy Head of PrimaryKey Responsibilities1. Pastoral LeadershipKHDA Wellbeing Framework: Lead the implementation and monitoring of the KHDA Wellbeing Framework, ensuring that student wellness is at the heart of the school's mission and that data reflects a measurable positive impact on student happiness and safety.Holistic Wellbeing: Lead the pastoral team to ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all students.Cultural Alignment: Ensure pastoral systems and behavioral expectations are culturally sensitive and aligned with the values of our Emirati families and the wider UAE context.Behavior Management: Oversee the implementation of positive behavior reinforcement strategies, moving away from punitive measures to build a culture of success & respect.Parental Partnership: Act as a key point of contact for families, fostering strong home-school relationships and leading on "courageous conversations" regarding student progress and wellbeing.Safeguarding: Work closely with the school clinic and safeguarding leads to monitor student health and follow up on any emerging illness or welfare concerns.2. Data & Progress Analysis (School-wide)SEF Alignment: Use rigorous data analysis to contribute directly to the School Self-Evaluation Form (SEF), ensuring that evidence-based progress is documented across all standards to meet and exceed regulatory expectations.Strategic Oversight: Lead the analysis of key performance indicators, including MAP and NGRT to monitor student growth.Instructional Impact: Partner with the academic leadership team to translate data into actionable classroom strategies, ensuring teachers understand standards and DOK requirements.Reporting: Prepare comprehensive data reports for the Senior Leadership Team identifying trends and gaps.Intervention Tracking: Oversee the effectiveness of intervention programs, ensuring that students requiring additional support have specific, measurable targets.#J-18808-Ljbffr
