Job Description
The Paralegal Manager supports by maintaining, drafting documents, and organizing files, calling on legal witnesses, maintaining a legal library to perform a variety of tasks to support lawyers, counsels, including conducting legal research, and drafting documents. Job Responsibilities 1 Facilitate the establishment of new companies in Qatar, ensuring adherence to local laws and regulations. Coordinate with foreign lawyers and legal firms to establish companies in other jurisdictions. Prepare and review all necessary incorporation documents, including articles of association, shareholder agreements, and related filings. Ensure timely renewal of commercial registrations, trade licenses, and other mandatory legal documents. Monitor expiration dates of licenses and registrations and proactively initiate the renewal process. Handle amendments to legal documents, including changes in company structure, address, or shareholder details. Ensure the CR matrix, as approved by the Executive Committee and BOD, is fully implemented across all relevant operations. Regularly review and update the CR matrix to align with business needs and regulatory changes. Coordinate with internal departments to enforce compliance with the approved matrix. Job Responsibilities 2 Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements. Maintain an organized system for storing legal and regulatory documents. Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Liaise with regulatory authorities in Qatar and abroad to resolve legal issues or discrepancies. Communicate with foreign lawyers and international legal counsel to manage cross-border company establishment and compliance. Review and negotiate terms with external legal service providers to ensure cost effective legal support. Supervise and guide a team of paralegal and administrative staff providing guidance, mentorship, and training. Delegate tasks, set priorities, and monitor performance to meet deadlines and ensure high quality output. Review drafts prepared by paralegals for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to legal standards. Job Knowledge & Skills Strong experience in corporate legal support, with a focus on company establishment and legal documentation. Strong organizational skills to manage legal documents, filings, and correspondence efficiently. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to draft legal documents and communicate effectively with clients and legal teams. Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure precision in document preparation and case management. Familiarity with legal procedures and terminology to provide valuable support to attorneys and clients in legal matters. ERP knowledge; preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
