With a presence in 14 countries, Fortil fosters entrepreneurial freedom and the empowerment of individual potential to deliver high-impact technological solutions.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support the fabrication and installation of piping systems, hull outfitting components, and insulation worksApply technical knowledge of pipe bending, welding techniques for piping, non-destructive testing (NDT), and pipe treatmentMonitor and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), self-inspections, and quality plans in compliance with client and classification society requirementsEnsure strict adherence to international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 3834, and ISO 45001Collaborate with production, QA/QC, and HSE teams to support safety and risk prevention practices (ORP – intermediate level)Contribute to surface preparation and painting supervision (certifications in this area are a plus)Interpret and review technical drawings and 3D models using tools like FORANManage documentation and reports through SAP and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word)QualificationsDegree in Naval Architecture or Technical Naval EngineeringMinimum of 4 years of experience in shipbuilding projects, specifically in piping, outfitting, and insulationFamiliarity with classification society regulations (e.g., DNV, Bureau Veritas, Lloyd’s)Proficiency in FORAN, SAP, and standard office toolsEnglish level B2 minimum (advanced level preferred)Additional certifications in surface treatment or painting are a strong advantageSoft skillsAccuracy and attention to detailAbility to work in multidisciplinary teams in dynamic environmentsProblem-solving mindset, autonomy, and technical leadershipWhy join us?At Fortil, we implement concrete initiatives to support your development and ensure an inspiring work environmentPersonalized support to help you grow your skillsAn ecosystem that encourages you to step outside your comfort zoneThe opportunity to become a shareholderInvolvement in community and non-profit projectsA dedicated policy to support parenthoodFortil is committed to equal opportunity.
