Oracle GoldenGate Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Oracle GoldenGate Specialist to join our team and work on advanced data replication and Change Data Capture (CDC) projects for a utility client. This role offers the opportunity to implement enterprise-grade data synchronization solutions that support real-time operations, business intelligence, and disaster recovery for critical infrastructure systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing high-availability data synchronization strategies and ensuring data consistency across heterogeneous database environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement Oracle GoldenGate solutions for data replication and CDC across our client's operational and analytical databasesConfigure and manage GoldenGate replication processes including Extract, Pump, and ReplicatSet up bidirectional replication and active-active database configurations for high availabilityImplement data transformation and filtering logic using GoldenGate featuresMonitor replication lag and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in 24/7 operational systemsPerform initial data loads and maintain data consistency across production, disaster recovery, and analytics environmentsConfigure GoldenGate for heterogeneous database replication (Oracle to non-Oracle platforms)Implement disaster recovery and high availability solutions using GoldenGate to support business continuity requirementsCreate and maintain technical documentation for replication architecturesProvide production support and resolve replication-related incidents with defined SLAsConduct capacity planning and performance tuning of GoldenGate infrastructureEnsure compliance with client security standards and data governance policiesCollaborate with database administrators, infrastructure teams, application owners, and client stakeholdersMentor junior team members and share knowledge within InnovationTeamQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field5-8 years of experience with Oracle GoldenGate (Classic and Microservices Architecture)Deep understanding of Oracle database architecture and internals (11g/12c/19c/21c)Strong knowledge of data replication concepts, CDC, and ETL processesExperience with conflict detection and resolution strategiesProficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scriptingKnowledge of Oracle database features (RAC, Data Guard, ASM)Experience with Linux/Unix operating systemsStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills in high-pressure environmentsAbility to work in 24/7 production support environments with on-call responsibilitiesExcellent communication and client-facing skillsFluency in English; Arabic proficiency is highly preferredSaudi national or valid Iqama holderAbility to obtain necessary security clearances for government projectsPreferred QualificationsOracle GoldenGate certificationExperience with Oracle GoldenGate for Big DataKnowledge of cloud-based replication (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Exadata)Familiarity with other replication technologies (Shareplex, SQL Server Replication)Experience with data warehousing and real-time analytics platformsUnderstanding of database security, encryption, and data maskingPrevious experience working with utilities, water sector, or critical infrastructure projectsExperience working in consulting or IT services environmentsProject management or team leadership experienceKnowledge of Saudi government IT standards and compliance requirementsStrong client relationship management skillsAt InnovationTeam, we strive for excellence in everything we do.
