Job Description
Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of medical diseases and conditions, as well as the provision of medical care in Ophthalmology, in accordance with current medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations and MHC policies and procedures.ResponsibilitiesProvides required patient care and management in the Ophthalmology in accordance with standards of medical care.Provides high quality patient care in all aspects of Ophthalmic Surgery according to his approved clinical privileges.Admits patients, initiates investigations and ensures findings are recorded. Assesses patients' diseases or conditions to determine appropriate therapeutic moralities / procedures.Ensures appropriate patient preparationfor procedures / surgery and performs procedures / surgery as indicated in the signed clinical privilege form.Follow up on investigation results or inpatients and outpatients and modifies treatment accordingly.QualificationsFRCS or MD in Ophthalmology from an accredited medical institution.Minimum 5 years of Experience after highest educational degree in Ophthalmology (Oculoplasty).Must be fully licensed without restriction in country of origin.Conversant with the standards of CBAHI & JCI Standards.#J-18808-Ljbffr
