Job SummaryThe Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of specialty coffee outlets, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, consistent product quality, and strong commercial performance. This role focuses on operational excellence, team leadership, cost control, and maintaining brand standards across all locations.Key Responsibilities1. Operations ManagementOversee daily operations across all coffee outlets to ensure smooth and efficient performanceMaintain high standards of coffee quality, service, and cleanlinessEnsure all branches comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs), brand standards, and health & safety regulationsMonitor workflow efficiency and implement continuous improvements2. Speciality Coffee Quality ControlEnsure consistency in coffee preparation (espresso, manual brewing, and signature beverages)Maintain calibration of coffee equipment and brewing standardsWork closely with store managers, head baristas, and coffee trainers on quality auditsEnsure proper sourcing, storage, and handling of coffee beans3. Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, train, and develop store managers and baristasConduct regular training sessions on speciality coffee standards and customer serviceMonitor staff performance and implement performance improvement plansBuild a strong team culture aligned with brand values4. Financial Control & Cost ManagementManage profit and loss (P&L) performance across all outletsControl labor costs, waste, and operational expensesAnalyze sales reports and implement strategies to increase revenueEnsure inventory accuracy and minimize stock loss5. Customer ExperienceEnsure a premium customer experience aligned with speciality coffee cultureHandle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionallyImplement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and retention6. Supply Chain & InventoryOversee ordering, inventory management, and supplier relationshipsEnsure availability of coffee beans, milk, and all operational suppliesCoordinate with central kitchen or roastery (if applicable)7. Compliance & StandardsEnsure compliance with local regulations and food safety standardsConduct regular audits across all branchesMaintain operational documentation and records8. Business DevelopmentSupport expansion plans (new store openings and concept development)Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitabilityCollaborate with the marketing team on promotions and seasonal campaignsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred4–8 years of experience in food & beverage operations, preferably in speciality coffeeStrong understanding of speciality coffee standards and brewing methodsExperience managing multi‑unit operationsSkills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team management skillsDeep knowledge of speciality coffee culture and trendsFinancial acumen (P&L management, budgeting, cost control)Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environmentKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Sales and revenue growth targetsCost control (labor cost, cost of goods sold, waste)Customer satisfaction metricsEmployee retention and performanceAudit and compliance resultsConsistency of coffee quality across all locationsReporting LineReports to: CEO / General ManagerDirect Reports: Area Managers / Store Managers#J-18808-Ljbffr
