Job Description
Job Description You will be part of the Global Cash, Surveillance & Messaging Operations team at Deutsche Bank's Operations & Technology Centers in India. As the Vice President (VP) of Cash Operations, you will lead the Service Delivery for Cash Operations, reporting to the Director (Global Cash Operations India). Your primary responsibility will be to manage multiple teams across locations, providing services to all regions on a 24x6 basis. You will be expected to own the end-to-end process, enhance controls, mitigate risks, achieve zero error delivery, implement process automation, and create efficiencies. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of industry trends in Payments products and processes. Key Responsibilities: Understand and apply global cash operations strategies and objectives, focusing on service delivery, cost, risk and control, transformation and efficiency, process improvement, people management, and regulatory compliance within the operations unit. Deliver on global transformation initiatives. Keep all operational guidelines updated, ensure adherence to standards and procedures, and identify risk mitigation measures where control issues arise. Conduct regular operational performance reviews. Effectively manage risk and ensure adherence to the risk and control framework in line with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and audit standards. Responsible for the complete and accurate processing of transactions in a timely manner, including performing all relevant controls. Develop strong engagement with regions/branches served and all internal stakeholders. Ensure all group policy requirements are adhered to. Manage teams performing various processes within cash operations. Oversee resource and headcount management for the area/region served. Liaise with stakeholders and the vendor management team regarding various aspects of service delivery. Ensure quality awareness within the team. Manage transitions as needed. Implement service delivery governance frameworks through performance reviews such as SDM. Manage a team of approximately 100 employees, including AVPs, associates, and analysts/senior analysts. Actively support the business strategy, plans, and values, contributing to the achievement of a high-performance culture. Take ownership of personal career management, seeking opportunities for continuous development and improved performance contribution. Foster a high-performance culture integrated with the bank's values and beliefs. Act as a role model for employees. Drive a culture of robust performance management. Qualifications Required: Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in Banking/Cash Operations with extensive knowledge of various banking products such as Cash, Cash Management Services/Systems. Proven track record in managing multiple teams, processes, and functions, and driving change. Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction at all levels across business disciplines, regions, and branches. Energetic and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to manage service delivery for large teams (approximately 100 employees), including AVPs/Managers. - In-depth understanding of SWIFT and ISO features, products and services, FX processes, and cross-border remittances.
