Job Description As an Operations Manager for Project Money, your role involves overseeing and ensuring the smooth operations of the assigned line of business. You will be responsible for maintaining effective communication between internal and external stakeholders. Here are your key responsibilities:
- Effectively monitor the operations of the assigned line of business and act as a successful interface between internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify performance trends using performance dashboards and take proactive measures to ensure competitive operations governance against contracted SLAs.
- Review and report line of business metrics to senior leadership periodically and suggest areas for performance improvement.
- Identify and manage the risk environment for the line of businesses, implementing effective controls with the help of support departments.
- Strategically allocate responsibilities within the business unit, ensuring alignment with changing business and stakeholders' requirements.
- Review talent spread and skill matrix periodically, ensuring timely recruitment and onboarding of operations staff.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and coordinate the implementation of different transformation methodologies.
- Lead stakeholder connects with effective client communication, maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Interpret organization, business, and client requirements with an agile approach.
- Monitor performance SLAs and ensure smooth delivery of committed volumes, maximizing incentives and identifying expansion areas within the line of businesses.
- Ensure adherence to ISO/PCI compliance controls and implement effective controls on identified areas.
- Motivate teams, foster a culture of continuous learning, and enhance skillsets.
- Schedule mandatory and ad-hoc connects with teams and managers, identifying needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Fostering the development of aligned line of businesses by leading employees towards career advancement, providing constructive feedback, counseling, and timely rewards recognition.
Skills and Requirements:
- Certification/experience in Data Analysis.
- 8+ years of operations management experience within US Wealth Management/Capital Markets/financial services.
- Strong planning skills and ability to interpret and present reports effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of performance metrics and stakeholder management.
- Experience in client SLA management and direct client-facing roles.
- Experience in representing business/delivery for transformation projects.
- Creative and strategic thinker with the capacity to foster similar attributes within a team.
- Willingness to work US working hours in a 24x7 operations environment.
