PositionOperations Manager Aviation MaintenanceLocationAbu Dhabi (or assigned location)Contract TypeFull-Time, Long-TermBasic Function and ScopeThe Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of aviation maintenance functions, including material planning, production control, and maintenance execution. This role supports and deputizes for the Program Manager, ensuring contractual deliverables, personnel performance, and aircraft readiness standards are met.QualificationsBachelor s Degree in Aircraft Maintenance, Aviation, or Engineering (Master s in a related discipline preferred)PMP or equivalent project management certificationSix Sigma or similar process improvement qualificationIn-depth experience in MRO operations, maintenance programs, and sustainment planningExperienceMinimum 8 years in a supervisory role managing aviation maintenance and modification programs, preferably militaryStrong knowledge of lifecycle logistics and multi-aircraft material planningExperience negotiating contracts and managing OEM/vendor relationsLanguage SkillsMust be proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking)Key ResponsibilitiesManage aircraft maintenance personnel, resources, and equipmentEnsure compliance with all applicable maintenance standards and safety regulationsPrepare for audits and ensure corrective actions are implementedOversee and support departmental managers to maintain effective operationsProduce regular reports and monthly contract deliverables (CDRL)Direct maintenance activities including inspections, modifications, and repairsEnsure aircraft meet airworthiness standards through strict adherence to technical manualsForecast and plan scheduled maintenance around operational requirementsOversee related functions such as logistics, quality control, and ITDevelop and implement training programs for new aircraft typesSupport deployment operations with procedural guidanceMaintain contractual KPIs and escalate risks as necessaryAct as primary interface with customer leadership on maintenance program mattersSupervisionSupervises: Unit ManagersReports to: Program ManagerAdditional RequirementsStrong understanding of aircraft structures, equipment, and modification programsWorking knowledge of contract law and aviation contract terminologyProficient in standard business and maintenance softwareStrong leadership, delegation, and interdepartmental coordination skillsBenefitsCompetitive, tax-free salaryFamily status visaComprehensive medical coverageAnnual flight tickets#J-18808-Ljbffr
