<div><p><b>Job Summary</b></p><p>The role allows the early startup of supply base operations in line with the group’s long term business direction of operating a New Supply Base setup in KSA located in Ras Al Khair Port.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Development / improve operational strategies in line with the requirement of Saudi Port Authorities, Coast Guards and Customs (Zakat) office within the Port.</li><li>Take charge of executing the supply base operations to meet revenue and margin targets for supply base ops and ship repairs services in the Port.</li><li>Engagement with new client pool and ensure customer centric support is provided for all new Marine and Offshore customers operating in KSA.</li><li>Deep understanding of vessels movement operational process in line with Port Authority (Mawani) and coast guard requirements.</li><li>Engage Mawani harbour tugs for vessel movement needs.</li><li>Plan and execute stevedoring operations to ensure safe and secured handling of incoming vessels into Supply Base.</li><li>Understanding of supply base logistical operational services.</li><li>Understanding of project load out (SPMT/Cranes) operations (modules, blocks, subsea pipelines) onto laydown barge.</li><li>Handling of clients engaged marine warranty surveyor to ensure sea fastening and load out operations were carried out in line with warranty surveyor instructions.</li><li>Follow up on all new clients to promote PFMC capabilities and service support to bring in new revenue stream.</li><li>Handle site enquiries from customers and work with commercial team to ensure timely response.</li><li>Follow-up the tenders with customers and agents and negotiating the Contracts/Projects.</li><li>Ensure timely tender estimation is carry out by commercial estimator.</li><li>Handle client management for PFMC within port.</li><li>Manage PFMC Operations team to maintain optimal critical inventory levels for materials and consumables.</li><li>Ensure internal stakeholders adhere to and understand contractual obligations, and also determine when processes violate regulations.</li><li>To be able to assess all risks and make recommendations based on analysis of factors affecting a business situation.</li><li>Provide functional and management support in the management of Change, including negotiation and settlement of Change/Variation Orders with the clients.</li><li>Review of existing company procedures and policies on commercial management, and provide constructive feedback for refining/updating of the existing procedures.</li></ul><h3>Key Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the operations – Saudi Ports / Supply Base (Strong grasp of Mawani, Coast Guards and Customs Regulatory Function Preferred)</li><li>Conversant in Microsoft applications (Excel / Word)</li><li>Conversant in SAP Project Management</li><li>Conversant in Microsoft Project</li><li>Team management experience</li></ul><h3>Education</h3><p>Bachelors in Marine Engineering or Naval Architect</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
