As an Operations Associate, you’ll greet guests warmly, guide them through attractions, and expertly sell tickets, merchandise, and services using a POS system—ensuring smooth operations, accurate cash handling, and flawless service. Your role blends hospitality with sales acumen, requiring strong communication, cash management skills, and a proactive approach to resolving guest needs while maintaining clean, well-stocked spaces. With no prior experience required but a passion for customer care, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, contributing to financial targets and guest satisfaction. Expect a rewarding role where your efforts directly enhance visitor enjoyment and operational excellence in a vibrant leisure setting.ResponsibilitiesGreeting and welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner and bid farewell to all guests exiting the PalaceEngage each guest as a unique individual and listen attentively to their requests and questionsAssist and advise guests to make purchases by recommending, describing and demonstrating productsManage and maintain queue lanes, turn stiles, entrances and exitsSell tickets and retail products via a computerized Point of Sale (POS) systemCollect payments/make change by accepting cash, vouchers, credit card, digital payments and listed foreign currenciesBalances cash drawer/register/float by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift and ensure timely remittance of sales to cash controlMaintain awareness and adherence to company’s cash handling policiesProvide pricing, promotion, shows information and suggestions to guests, keeping them well informed to enhance/maximize the guest experienceConsistently upsell/cross-sell and promote products, activities, and services to generate additional revenueArrange and maintain product displays with approval, stock shelves (refill) and take product inventoryProactively anticipate, listen to guest’s needs and concerns and act appropriately to resolve any issues in a timely manner in adherence to company’s guest complaint policyManage lost and found counter and locker area according to company’s lost and found policyConduct guest surveys using a company provided tablet, ensuring that all questions are completed and submittedMaintain awareness and ability to act or respond to any emergency situations while ensuring guest safetyWork outdoors in extreme temperatures, wet, humid or windy conditions caused by weatherAssisting in quarterly and yearly inventoryPromote products, activities, and services to generate additional revenueManage issued cash float and ensure that it balances correctly at the end of each shiftRemittance of daily sales to cash control without any discrepanciesActively seek and implement cost-saving programs in order to provide financial resultsQualificationsHigher secondary (high school diploma) or equivalentHigher secondary or equivalent#J-18808-Ljbffr
