Whether it’s streamlining operations, enhancing the customer experience, or reimagining internal systems — we want people who can make Careem work smarter and move faster.About The TeamAs an intern you will get to be part of a dynamic and autonomous team from Careem veterans to new tigers who joined on a mission to build Careem Food all aligned on the same values of ownership, shooting to the moon and being of service to customers, partners, colleagues and captains.What You’ll DoField training job – onboard and train new restaurants and shops to the Careem Food Delivery network.Visit them and set up the dashboard on a Careem‑provided or restaurant device.Restaurant and shop types include large food chains (top tier), medium & small food outlets (long tail), flower shops and pharmacies.Maintain trackers daily, log all devices dispatched (if applicable) and ensure our food and shop partners go online in a timely manner.Assist with retraining and device troubleshooting should a partner face any difficulties operating our system.What You’ll NeedPassion for interacting with people.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and similar software tools.Strong communication skills and attention to detail.Passionate commitment to improving the lives of people, an insane focus on excellence and customer service, and strong alignment with our core values: being bold, focused, agile and collaborative.Highly motivated with a “hunting spirit” to develop new opportunities and grow business in multiple technology dimensions within the Food/Service Providers space.Excellent at working in teams and comfortable collaborating with local, regional and corporate teams.Ability to work under pressure, manage stretched targets and limited resources while proposing smart tech‑based ideas to solve problems.Ownership, high energy, and self‑driven.Tech/net savvy – flair for e‑commerce / internet‑led business.Good knowledge of the UAE market.UAE driving licence would be an added advantage.Candidates must have their own visa, as this is an internship.Preference will be given to fresh graduates.Arabic language would be a bonus.What We’ll Provide YouWe offer colleagues the opportunity to drive impact in the region while they learn and grow.
