Operating Room Nurse - UK/ Europe Based Candidate

OverviewA leading international hospital in Dubai is looking for experienced and dedicated Operating Room Nurses, preferably Western-trained, to join its advanced surgical team. This is an exciting opportunity for nurses who are passionate about perioperative care and are seeking to work in a modern, multidisciplinary operating theatre environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality, safe, and effective perioperative nursing care across various surgical specialties.Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room before, during, and after surgery.Ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are sterile, organized, and accounted for.Function efficiently as a scrub nurse, circulating nurse, or in recovery, depending on assignment and shift.Monitor patients throughout the perioperative phases, ensuring comfort, safety, and optimal recovery.Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the wider surgical team.Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Support infection control measures and participate in quality improvement initiatives within the OR.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized Western institution (e.g., UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, etc.).Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the Operating Room within an acute hospital setting.Current or eligible DHA license (Dubai Health Authority).BLS certification required; ACLS and/or PALS preferred.Strong understanding of sterile techniques, surgical safety protocols, and OR best practices.Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.Ability to adapt in a multicultural environment and work effectively under pressure.Willing to work in DubaiTo view other vacancies we have, please check our website www.blackpearlconsult.com and follow us on our social media accounts - LinkedIn / Facebook / Twitter / Instagram.Disclaimer: Black Pearl will never ask for money or any form to charge our candidates just to process or consider their application for any of our available vacancies.
