Job Description

Offshore Project Director should have vast and strong experience in the Offshore industry and construction management experience on mega projects. Coordinates with other functional managers to ensure correct implementation of the project construction specifications and standards.The ideal candidate must possess thorough knowledge of engineering design development, construction practices, economic principles, international codes, standards, procedures, and specifications. Has the overall responsibility of program management and is responsible for the overall project cost, schedule, safety, and quality.Role Responsibilities:Delivers to clients satisfaction and contractual requirementsAccountable for project cost performance and accounts receivableServes as the prime point of contact between the client and the companyEnsures the project execution is in accordance with policies, procedures, systemsManages and coordinates project leadership personnelSupports Business Development and proposals for new offshore opportunitiesNegotiates changes with the clientResponsible for all contracts in their program of worksUses and shares best practices among the PMsPlans the project execution and revises the plan as necessary, ensuring adherence to the planKeeps the client and company advised of project statusLeads the project management team and is responsible for the successful completion of the projectAbides by our business ethicsEnsures project delivery aligns with the Quality Management systemsForecasts workload ensuring deployment of sufficient resources (requiring close cooperation with the Engineering Manager)Resolves inter-project conflictsManages all people assigned to offshore contracts effectivelyAppraises direct reports regularlyMaintains and promotes Company ValuesPromotes capturing and implementing lessons learned on ProjectsSkills & ExperienceProven experience in managing engineering and procurement projectsStrong knowledge of offshore and experience with detailed design projects, ideally a mix of greenfield and brownfield projects.
