Offshore Piping Designer (SP3D)

ISS International S.p.A. is seeking a Piping Designer in Qatar with SP3D Knowledge and Offshore experience to manage, within a project, a team of Piping and Layout Draftsman. The role involves carrying out the Piping and Layout part of installations, 3D CAD models, and Piping/Layout construction drawings in accordance with technical, budget, and schedule targets. This will be done under the responsibility of the Project Piping and Layout Leader or Piping Engineers.ResponsibilitiesExecute the activities within own area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements.Tasks includeA - Development Technology Know-How and Commercial SupportB - FeasibilityC - Bidding Phase/Commercial Proposal DevelopmentD - Project ExecutionProject ExecutionDesign, execute, or check typical Piping and Layout studies including: 3D modelling, 3D model review with other disciplines and issue of clash check report, Construction or design drawings using 2D software or extracted from 3D for piping networks (overall plot plan, equipment layout drawings, piping general arrangement, piping isometrics, and piping supports), Bill of materials or material take-off, Extraction of bill of materials and other information from the 3D CAD modelOrganize the work of the team and follow up on the planning of resource mobilizationCoordinate the work of the team with the Piping and Layout Engineers of the projectCheck input data and all documents/information issued by the teamEnsure all assumptions underpinning the team's work remain aligned with project developments; report anomalies to the Project Piping and Layout LeadSupervise document updates following comments from other disciplines (inter-discipline checks) or external stakeholders (Client, Yards, Third-party reviews, etc.)Contribute to the Piping and Layout Department improvement system by sharing lessons learned during the projectRequirementsKnowledge of main international discipline standards, codes, and regulationsProficiency in tools related to 2D and 3D modelling activitiesMust have expertise in 3D modeling & Drawing Extraction using SmartPlant 3D (S3D)Experience of working with Qatar Gas is advantage.Minimum 8 years of experience as a Piping Designer, with strong offshore project expertiseType : Contract for 6 months, liable to extension#J-18808-Ljbffr
