Job DescriptionAs an Offshore Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our offshore operations comply with all HSE regulations and standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying potential risks, implementing safety programs, and fostering a culture of safety among all team members. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that all safety measures are adhered to and that the health and well-being of all personnel are prioritized.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and manage safety programs to maintain regulatory compliance offshore.Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.Provide expert advice on health, safety, and environmental issues to all offshore personnel.Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and preventive measures.Collaborate with managers and supervisors to implement safety policies and procedures.Conduct training sessions on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices for offshore teams.Prepare and maintain detailed reports on HSE performance and incidents on site.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HSE legislation and industry best practices.Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure readiness.Monitor environmental impact and sustainability practices as part of HSE responsibilities.Ensure the proper usage and maintenance of safety equipment by all staff.Assist in the development of new safety initiatives and continuous improvement strategies.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.Minimum of 5 years' experience in offshore HSE advisory or similar roles.Proficient understanding of HSE legislation and offshore safety standards.Strong communication skills for effectively conveying safety information and training.Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and develop associated mitigation strategies.Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis methodologies.Certification in offshore safety training programs such as BOSIET or OPITO.Job DetailsRole Level: Mid-Level | Work Type: Full-Time | Country: United Arab Emirates | City: Dubai | Company: TalentMate | Job Function: Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) | Industry: Recruitment & Staffing#J-18808-Ljbffr
