OFFSHORE EX. INSPECTOR

Primary Purpose of the Jobintend to execute Hazardous equipment inspection regime for Ex equipment in IS Offshore field. This Offshore based position responsible and accountable for Ex Inspection and maintenance activity of Explosion proof equipment of Idd El Shargi facilities (IS). Inspection and repair activities on all electrical & Instrument Explosion proof rated equipment in the offshore installation, in a safe and efficient manner, maximize the plant safety with the effective use of all available resources.Principal AccountabilitiesGood knowledge of maintenance of electrical & Instrument equipment in Oil & Gas petroleum production facilities.Required to perform inspection, maintenance and repair activities of Ex Electrical & instrumentation equipment Offshore Qatar.Conduct Ex inspection as per Ex work package, IEC check list and identify non-compliance in accordance with IEC 60079-17.Liaising with all relevant departments within I.S. to ensure all salient points are covered in the Scope of Work thus capturing all the important issues.Utilization of work procedures including all necessary safety precautions such as lockouts and tag out procedures.Manage the execution of the Scope of Work to ensure Maintenance and Operations Teams are fully aware of the ongoing workscope.Prepare, compile clear and concise reports / documents for daily activities.Raise Notification in SAP for the corrective action along the required materials, manpower etc.,Knowledge in arc flash hazards & hands on experience in Hazardous area equipment maintenance.Decision Making AuthorityKnowledgeable in the repair activities based on findings criticality, priority ranking and in preparation of materials requisitions providing all necessary information for the timely procurement of the required equipment and materials.Supports IS Operation & Maintenance Team activities (SMS & Electrical Lead) in accordance with company Policies and with guidance from the Onshore team.Context / Special Features / ChallengesFocused on delivery of the Ex. inspection report by maintaining the highest level of safety awareness and criticality awareness.Familiar in IEC 79 Regulations and hands on experience in the Ex. inspection campaign role.Working knowledge in Hazardous area and perform task individually.Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / ExperienceMinimum ten (10) years of professional experience as Electrical Engineer/Technician/ Inspector in Oil & Gas Industry preferably in offshore environment.Performed Ex inspection in any Offshore / Onshore facility for minimum of two (2) years in this role.CompEx certified or equivalent,Language skills: English: Speak, Read & WriteComputer skills: Excel, word etc., and Knowledge in SAP for reporting (advantage)Rope access qualification for access high elevation equipment (advantage)Interested candidates may share their updated resume to – admin@eucb.com#J-18808-Ljbffr
