Duties & ResponsibilitiesSet daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employeesOrganize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedulesAllocate manpower assignment and relevant instructionsEnsure that work instructions are properly executed and that workers follow the correct production methodsSupervise the storage of produced materials at the factoryEnsure and supervise the safe operation of printing press machinery and equipment & schedule regular maintenanceOversee and coach employeesCheck production output according to specificationsSubmit reports on performance and progress to managementIdentify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements in report form to the managementTrain new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow proceduresEnforce strict safety guidelines and company standardsRecognize possible print issues and plan layouts accordingly in discussion with head of productionApply strict guidelines for Quality Assurance to ensure the best possible product for clienteleExamining finished samples and approving quality before delivery to clientMonitor the quality of the product and ensure deadlines are metOrganize, Control and Monitor Production AreaIdentifying and selecting appropriate options for binding, inks, paper, varnishes, and special printing processesEnsure that a quality standards plan is created and enforced.RequirementsBachelor's degree from an accredited Three-year college or university in any subjectMinimum of 5 year experience of which 3 in printing press fieldBasic Safety Training, Related Production training, Effective Planning training, etcPossesses strong negotiation skillsHas excellent verbal communications skillsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsDetail-oriented, possessing excellent ability to work independently as neededStrong interpersonal skillsStrong command of English and working knowledge of the Arabic language
