<div><h3>Overview</h3><p>This Position exists to assist in promoting Health, Safety&Environment procedures efficiently, in a timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Assist to develop, monitor and implement the organization's health and safety policy.</li><li>Ensure the organization is compliant with health and safety regulations and to reduce or prevent hazards, dangers and accidents on site.</li><li>Ensure policies and procedures are in place and enforced.</li><li>Ensure the legal requirements for health and safety are maintained in the workplace.</li><li>Inspect the workplace for potential hazards, identify hazards, assess risks and report potential hazards.</li><li>Conduct drills, such as fire drills, to ensure equipment is properly functioning and staff is aware of what to do in an emergency.</li><li>Conduct investigations: respond to and investigate accidents and emergencies.</li><li>Maintain working knowledge of site specialist work rules (with SABIC, SEC, MARAFIQ&ARAMCO, SWCC).</li><li>Understand the principles of risk assessments and method statements.</li><li>Carry out all documentation required for access gate passes for all workers at all sites.</li><li>Fulfill all regulatory documentation and submit for site startup, in process and closing.</li></ul><h3>Role Accountability</h3><p>Delivery: Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules; utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time; provide periodic reports detailing deviation and execution of planned tasks.</p><p>Problem-Solving: Resolve related problems and escalate complex operational issues as needed.</p><p>Quality: Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.</p><p>Business Process Improvement (Effectiveness): Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and identify automation opportunities where possible.</p><p>Compliance: Adhere to related policies, procedures and work instructions.</p><p>Health&Safety: Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, regulatory compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>Academic Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety&Health.</p><p>Work Experience: 2 to 5 years.</p><p>Technical / Functional Competencies: MS Office, Teamwork, Time Management, Well Organized, Communication, Creativity, Initiative, Risk Assessment, Analytical thinking, Detail Oriented, Presentation, Leadership.</p><h3>Profile description</h3><p>Alfanar is a Saudi company with an international presence, primarily engaged in the manufacturing and trading of a wide variety of low, medium, and high voltage electrical products, in addition to its portfolio of conventional and renewable energy solutions, oil and gas, water treatment, infrastructure, technical services, and digital solutions.</p><p>The hub of alfanar’s manufacturing operations is Medinet alfanar Alsinaiya, a 700,000 square-meter complex located in Riyadh.
