Job Description

<div><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Oversee the daily operations and performance of the clinical dietetics services across assigned units.</li><li>Develop and execute individualized nutrition care plans tailored to patient medical conditions and dietary needs.</li><li>Deliver nutrition counseling and educational sessions to patients, families, and caregivers.</li><li>Assess and calculate patients' nutritional requirements, including caloric and macronutrient needs.</li><li>Review and adjust dietary plans and menu options based on patients’ clinical progress and feedback.</li><li>Monitor and verify the accuracy of patient meal trays against prescribed dietary requirements.</li><li>Support the application of medical nutrition therapy for disease management and recovery.</li><li>Ensure consistent implementation of the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) in patient treatment protocols.</li><li>Collaborate with food services to maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and nutritional quality.</li><li>Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to align nutrition plans with overall patient care strategies.</li><li>Maintain accurate records and documentation of nutritional assessments, plans, and outcomes.</li><li>Conduct audits and quality control checks on food preparation and patient satisfaction with meals.</li><li>Stay updated with the latest clinical nutrition guidelines and apply evidence-based practices.</li><li>Provide training and guidance to junior dietitians, interns, or healthcare staff when required.</li><li>Evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition interventions and make necessary adjustments for optimal results.</li></ul><h3>Skills</h3><ul><li>Certified Clinical Dietitian Specialist by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)</li><li>Ability to relate well to other health professionals, patients, and their relatives.</li><li>Effective communication skills, with ability to impress upon patients and their relatives the importance and benefit in pursuing healthy eating habits.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.</li><li>Ability to monitor, maintain and supervise the departmental processes and policies</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
