Job Title: Office Manager (Architecture Background)Location: Sharjah, UAECompany Type: Architecture & Engineering Consulting FirmJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager with a background in Architecture or Engineering to oversee daily office operations and support project coordination. The ideal candidate will bridge administrative management with technical understanding of architectural workflows, authority submissions, and project documentation in the UAE.Key ResponsibilitiesOffice & Administrative ManagementManage daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and professionalismSupervise administrative staff and coordinate internal workflowsMaintain office systems, filing, and document control (digital & physical)Handle correspondence, scheduling, and meeting coordinationProject CoordinationSupport architects and engineers in project documentation and submissionsTrack project timelines, deliverables, and approvalsCoordinate with clients, contractors, and authoritiesAuthority Submissions & ComplianceManage submissions through platforms such as Sharjah Municipality and other relevant authoritiesEnsure compliance with UAE building regulations and permit requirementsFollow up on approvals, comments, and revisionsFinancial & Procurement SupportAssist in invoicing, tracking payments, and basic accounting coordinationManage office expenses, procurement, and vendor coordinationHR & Office SupportSupport recruitment, onboarding, and employee recordsMonitor staff attendance, leave, and performance coordinationRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 3–5 years experience in an architecture/engineering consultancy in the UAEStrong understanding of UAE authority procedures and submission processesSkillsDesired SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS OfficeFamiliarity with project management tools and document control systemsExcellent communication skills (Arabic & English preferred)Strong organizational and multitasking abilitiesKnowledge of contracts, drawings, and construction terminologyAbility to coordinate between technical and administrative teamsPreferred ExperienceExperience working with Sharjah Municipality, Dubai Municipality, or similar authoritiesFamiliarity with UAE building codes and permit systemsPrevious role as Office Manager or Project Coordinator in a consultancy firmKey CompetenciesLeadership and team coordinationAttention to detailProblem-solving and decision-makingTime management under pressureBenefitsCompetitive salary (based on experience)Professional work environmentOpportunity to grow within a reputable consultancy#J-18808-Ljbffr
