Oenologist

Oenologist for a Winery in Jabal-Ali, UAEWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Oenologist to join our team at a prestigious winery located in Jabal-Ali, UAE. As an Oenologist, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality wines from grape to bottle. This role requires a deep understanding of the science and art of winemaking, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with vineyard managers to determine the ideal harvest time for grapes- Oversee all stages of wine production, including crushing, fermentation, aging, and bottling- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure wines meet standards for taste and aroma- Create and adjust winemaking processes to achieve desired flavor profiles- Manage inventory and storage of wine products- Develop new wine blends and continuously improve existing ones- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in winemaking technologyRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Enology or related field- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Oenologist in a winery setting- Strong knowledge of grape varieties, fermentation methods, and wine chemistry- Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with other departments such as vineyard management and marketing- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)- Passion for wine production and a keen sense of taste and smellThis is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team at one of the leading wineries in UAE.
