OverviewOenologist/WinemakerWe are currently seeking an experienced Oenologist/Winemaker to join our team in Jabal-Ali, UAE. As an Oenologist, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and quality of our wines from grape to bottle. This is a contract position that does not require any previous experience in the industry.Key responsibilitiesManage all aspects of wine production from grape selection to fermentation, blending, and bottlingConduct regular quality control checks on the wine during different stages of productionCollaborate with vineyard managers to ensure optimal grape growing conditionsMonitor and maintain inventory levels of wine and packaging materialsDevelop and implement new techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of wine productionStay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to continuously improve our productsOversee a team of cellar workers and provide training when necessaryEnsure compliance with all safety regulationsRequirementsMust be a Malayalee national or have a strong understanding of Malayalee cultureAble to communicate effectively in English (Arabic is a plus)Own visa preferred but not requiredStrong passion for winemaking and knowledge of oenology principlesDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentFlexibility to work irregular hours during peak production periods#J-18808-Ljbffr
