OCI Cloud Operations Engineer- Riyadh, KSA

Job Overview:DeepSource Technologies is looking for an OCI Cloud Operations Engineer to manage, optimize, and support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments in Riyadh, KSA. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of OCI services, cloud architecture, and best practices for cloud management and operations. This role requires a proactive, analytical problem solver who can ensure operational excellence and security in our cloud environments.Key Responsibilities:OCI ManagementAdminister and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments, including provisioning, monitoring, and optimizing cloud resources.Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for cloud-based applications and services.Implement and manage OCI identity and access policies to ensure security and compliance.Performance Monitoring & TroubleshootingDevelop and implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify performance issues.Troubleshoot and resolve OCI service issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.Automation & ScriptingUtilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate resource provisioning and management.Develop scripts using Python, Terraform, or Ansible for automating routine tasks.Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate documentation of cloud architecture, resources, and operational procedures.Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into the performance and costs of cloud resources.Collaboration & Client SupportEngage with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud solutions align with business needs and operational requirements.Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding cloud-related challenges.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Technical Expertise:Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, including compute, networking, storage, and security services.Proficient in OCI management tools and best practices.Thorough understanding of networking concepts, including VPNs, VCNs, and security lists.Hands‑on experience with infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.Certifications:Oracle Cloud certification (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate) is highly preferred.Experience:5+ years of experience in cloud operations, specifically with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.Experience in implementing and managing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions in OCI.Soft Skills:Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation.Knowledge of container orchestration systems (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus.Familiarity with ITIL practices for service management.Medical insurance including family.Flight tickets including family.#J-18808-Ljbffr
