Job SummaryThe Pediatric Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for children. The role focuses on improving fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care abilities, and overall functional independence in pediatric patients.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for pediatric patientsDevelop individualized treatment plans based on child-specific needs and goalsDeliver therapy sessions targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and daily living skillsWork with children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, learning difficulties, and physical disabilitiesEducate and train parents/caregivers on home programs and progress strategiesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams (speech therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, educators)Monitor, document, and report patient progress accuratelyMaintain clinical records in compliance with professional and regulatory standardsParticipate in case reviews, team meetings, and ongoing professional developmentEnsure a safe, child-friendly, and engaging therapy environmentRequired QualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in Occupational TherapyValid DHA licenseMinimum 2 years of hands-on experience working with pediatric patientsStrong knowledge of pediatric developmental milestones and therapy techniquesExperience in sensory integration, fine motor development, and pediatric assessmentsStrong communication skills with children and familiesPatience, empathy, and child-centered approachAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamStrong observation, documentation, and time-management skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
