Job Description

<div><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, take medical histories, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate personalized treatment plans for injuries, illnesses, and disorders within the specialty.</li><li>Treatment and Procedures: Prescribe and administer appropriate medication, therapy, or other specialized medical care and perform necessary procedures/surgeries related to the specialty.</li><li>Collaboration and Consultation: Liaise and consult with other medical specialists, departments, and support services to ensure holistic and integrated patient care.</li><li>Documentation: Accurately document all relevant clinical information in a clear and timely fashion in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Quality Improvement and Research: Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research activities to enhance patient safety and care standards.</li><li>Supervision and Education: Provide instruction, guidance, and supervision to junior medical staff, residents, and students.</li><li>Communication: Communicate clinical information to patients and their families in a timely and compassionate manner, obtaining informed consent for procedures as required.</li></ul><h3>Compliance</h3><p>Adhere to all hospital departmental and divisional policies, procedures, and DOH regulations, including occupational health and safety guidelines and infection control protocols.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Education: An MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized medical school.</li><li>Post‑Graduate Training: Completion of a structured clinical residency or fellowship program in the relevant specialization.</li><li>Experience: A minimum of 2‑3 years of clinical experience post‑specialization, depending on the DOH tier classification qualifications and specific hospital requirements.</li><li>Licensing:<ul><li>DOH License: A valid Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi license or an eligibility letter to practice in Abu Dhabi is highly preferred.</li><li>Valid Registration: Must provide evidence of a current, valid license from the country of last or current practice.</li><li>Good Standing: A current Certificate of Good from the relevant licensing authority.</li><li>Examinations: Successful completion of the DOH licensing exam (may involve an oral assessment depending on the specialty).</li></ul></li><li>Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to continuous medical education (CME/CPD).</li><li>Language: Fluency in English and Arabic is required, and competence in other languages is often a distinct asset.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
