Obstetrician and Gynecologist Consultant

<div><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide expert care for high-risk pregnancies, including management of maternal complications and fetal anomalies.</li><li>Perform and interpret advanced prenatal imaging and diagnostic procedures (e.g., fetal ultrasound, Doppler studies, amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling).</li><li>Lead multidisciplinary case discussions involving neonatology, genetics, radiology, and other specialties.</li><li>Guide the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care of complex obstetric cases.</li><li>Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with obstetrics teams.</li></ul><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, residents, and fellows.</li><li>Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety standards.</li><li>Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy.</li><li>Engage in academic teaching, research, and continuing professional development (CPD).</li><li>Comply with SEHA and DOH policies, guidelines, and regulations.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)</li><li>Completion of specialized training in Obstetrics&Gynecology</li><li>Valid DOH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) license, CCT UK, American Board, German Board, and/or eligibility to obtain</li><li>Minimum 8–10 years of experience post-specialization, with significant exposure to high-risk obstetrics</li><li>Previous SEHA or GCC experience is an advantage</li></ul><h3>Key Skills and Competencies</h3><ul><li>Expert knowledge in General Obstetrics and Gynecology cases, maternal-fetal medicine and prenatal diagnostics</li><li>Proficiency in high-resolution obstetric ultrasound and fetal procedures</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
