Job Title: O&M Engineer 3500 CMD STP 2200 CMD Sewage pumping station Salary: 4500-5000 AED Joining: ImmediateJob Summary:We are looking for an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Engineer to manage and supervise the full operation and maintenance of a 3500 CMD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth plant operation optimizing process performance maintaining equipment reliability and ensuring full compliance with regulatory and quality standards.Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the entire STP including biological mechanical electrical and chemical processes. Ensure the plant operates within design parameters maintaining compliance with municipality and regulatory requirements. Supervise the O&M team including Senior Operators Technicians and Support Staff. Prepare and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all plant equipment and systems. Monitor process performance troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions to optimize plant efficiency. Supervise and verify water quality testing and laboratory results to ensure treated water meets required standards. Maintain proper documentation including daily reports maintenance logs incident records and compliance reports. Liaise and coordinate with Municipality representatives consultants and client stakeholders. Manage inventory of spare parts consumables and chemicals; ensure adequate stock levels. Ensure adherence to safety procedures conduct risk assessments and promote a safe working environment. Participate in plant audits inspections and improvement initiatives. Provide training and mentoring to operations staff to improve skills and plant performance.Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Environmental Mechanical Electrical or Chemical Engineering (or related field). Minimum 5 7 years experience in STP O&M preferably handling plants of capacity 3500 CMD or higher with driving licence. Strong knowledge of RAS-based treatment processes biological treatment sludge handling and chemical dosing. Practical understanding of mechanical electrical instrumentation and automation systems. Experience in managing teams and coordinating with clients and authorities. Ability to prepare technical reports risk assessments and compliance documentation. Proficiency in MS Office SCADA PLC-based plant operation is a plus. Strong communication and leadership skills. Available for immediate joining.
